As the Senior Events & Communications Manager, you’ll be responsible for managing Nomupay’s global events calendar from identifying and booking key industry events, to organising internal and partner-focused collaborations. You’ll also own communication channels that engage the rest of the company, inform our merchants and partners and support our reputation through coordinated press activity.
This is a hybrid role that requires both strategic thinking and hands-on delivery. You’ll work closely with regional teams, sales, marketing and external partners to ensure every touchpoint, whether an exhibition or announcement, aligns with our brand and business goals.
What you’ll be doing
Events & Exhibitions
- Lead the end-to-end planning, coordination and execution of external events, exhibitions and conferences.
- Research and recommend new event opportunities aligned with strategic priorities.
- Manage event budgets, timelines and logistics to maximise impact and return on investment.
- Collaborate with sales and product teams to prepare relevant materials and booth assets.
- Liaise with external organisers, suppliers and venues to ensure smooth delivery.
- Track event performance, gather feedback and report on ROI and lead generation.
Internal, partner & merchant Events
- Plan and execute internal events that foster employee engagement across regions (e.g. town halls, team building).
- Create and deliver events for partners and merchants to build stronger relationships and brand loyalty.
Communications
- Own internal communications across the business, ensuring consistent and timely messaging across multiple teams and time zones.
- Lead external merchant communications, including newsletters, product updates and announcements.
- Manage press releases and coordinate with PR agencies and regional teams to align on key messages.
- Ensure brand voice and tone are upheld across all communications channels.
What we’re looking for
- Experience in the payments, fintech or B2B SaaS industries is highly preferred.
- 4–6+ years of experience in events, communications or marketing roles.
- Proven track record of managing B2B events, exhibitions and third-party partnerships.
- Strong background in internal and external communications, ideally in a global or regional role.
- Excellent project management and budgeting skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills — confident speaking with stakeholders, vendors and staff at all levels.
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail and the ability to juggle multiple projects.
- Comfortable working across time zones and cultures.
- Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
