Your role at Nomupay
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Technical Onboarding & Merchant ID Provisioning Specialist (Junior) to join our team. In this role, you will assist with the seamless onboarding of merchants by provisioning Merchant IDs (MIDs) and configuring accounts to meet client-specific requirements. You will act as a key player in ensuring merchants are set up for success and their technical requirements are met.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with technical aptitude, an eye for detail, and an interest in payment processing, merchant systems, or IT operations.
Key responsibilities
- Ensure Merchant IDs are configured in an accurate and timely manner across the NomuPay acquiring platforms and Payment Gateway services by adhering to standard operating procedures for merchant setup and onboarding workflows
- Configure system settings, payment gateways, and merchant profiles based on onboarding specifications
- Merchant geographies cover all regions where NomuPay has a presence in namely, Asia Pacific, UK, MENA and Europe
- Perform post-merchant setup verification
- Perform basic troubleshooting of onboarding-related technical issues and escalate more complex issues to senior team members
- Provide constant and appropriate communication to internal and/or external stakeholders pertaining to the merchant’s configuration
- Regular internal reporting to reflect the status of current onboarding and tasks by maintaining accurate records of provisioning activities and updates in internal systems
- Build trust through approachability, responsiveness and follow-through
- Ensure all tasks are completed within established service-level agreements (SLAs)

Experience and requirements
- Diploma in computer science or any IT-related degree
- Experience in the Card Payment industry is preferred but not mandatory
- Candidate with 2 - 3 years of experience is preferred
- Proficiency in using CRM or ticketing systems (e.g., Salesforce, Zendesk) is advantageous
