Nomupay is a fast-growing global payments and fintech business, helping merchants move money seamlessly across borders. As we continue to scale our commercial organisation, we’re hiring a Solutions Consultant to sit at the intersection of Sales, Product and Technology.
This is a high-impact, customer-facing role with ownership over technical discovery, solution design and deal enablement across the UK, EMEA and APAC. You’ll play a critical role in translating complex payment requirements into scalable, compliant solutions for mid-market and enterprise merchants.
The role
As a Solutions Consultant, you’ll partner closely with Sales to drive revenue by designing, positioning and validating Nomupay’s payment solutions during the pre-sales cycle.
You’ll act as a trusted advisor to prospects, leading deep discovery sessions, mapping business and technical requirements and demonstrating how Nomupay’s platform solves complex cross-border payment challenges.
This role suits someone who enjoys problem-solving, stakeholder engagement and operating in a fast-paced fintech environment, with a strong balance of commercial awareness and technical depth.
What you’ll be doing
- Partner with Sales on qualified opportunities to support discovery, solution design and deal progression
- Lead technical and commercial discovery sessions with merchants and partners
- Design tailored payment solutions across acquiring, APMs, payouts and APIs
- Deliver product demos, workshops and solution walkthroughs to technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Translate customer requirements into clear solution architectures and implementation approaches
- Act as the voice of the customer internally, feeding insights back to Product and Engineering
- Support RFPs, technical questionnaires and compliance-led sales cycles
- Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Risk and Compliance teams to validate feasibility
- Ensure proposed solutions align with regulatory, operational and risk requirements
- Support handover from Sales to Implementation for a smooth post-sale transition
What we’re looking for
- 3–7+ years’ experience in a Solutions Consultant, Sales Engineer, Pre-Sales or Technical Consultant role
- Background in fintech, payments, SaaS or enterprise technology
- Strong understanding of payment flows, APIs, integrations and merchant ecosystems
- Experience supporting mid-market and enterprise sales cycles
- Comfortable engaging with technical teams, product leaders and senior commercial stakeholders
- Ability to clearly explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences
- Strong problem-solving mindset with a consultative sales approach
- Experience working with CRM and sales enablement tools (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.)
