Senior Analyst / Assistant Manager, Accounting

We’re a fast-growing global FinTech payments company building a new in-house accounting hub for Asia. As we scale across the region, we’re looking for a hands-on accounting professional who thrives in a dynamic, high-growth environment and enjoys building structure where it doesn’t yet fully exist.

This role goes beyond routine accounting. You’ll play a key part in strengthening regional financial operations, owning month-end close, and helping design scalable processes that support our growth. You’ll work closely with Regional and Group Finance teams and gain strong exposure across a global payments platform.

What you’ll do

  • Own and execute monthly close activities across the Asia region, including GL, AR/AP, reconciliations and reporting.
  • Support regional financial and management reporting with a strong focus on accuracy and timeliness.
  • Prepare, review and maintain balance sheet schedules and key reconciliations.
  • Drive data quality, consistency and control across accounting processes.
  • Partner with Regional Finance, Group Finance and external providers to deliver reliable accounting outcomes.
  • Support statutory, tax and group audits and work directly with auditors.
  • Ensure compliance with local regulatory and statutory requirements.
  • Actively contribute to building, improving and scaling a best-in-class in-house accounting function.

What we’re looking for

  • 6–8 years of hands-on operational accounting experience
  • Strong ownership of general ledger and month-end close processes
  • Degree/Diploma in Accounting, ACCA or equivalent qualification
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken)
  • Strong analytical mindset with excellent reconciliation skills
  • Comfortable with ambiguity, change and fast-moving environments
  • Proactive, curious and solutions-oriented

Nice to have

  • IFRS exposure, ideally across Asian markets
  • Experience in FinTech, payments or financial services
  • Microsoft Dynamics 365 experience
