Nomupay is entering an exciting phase of rapid growth—expanding our product offering, scaling internationally and investing in stronger financial leadership across Europe. We are now seeking a Head of Finance to lead our Lithuanian finance function and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of the business.
This is a rare opportunity to own the local finance agenda, influence regional decision‑making and join a high‑performance fintech at a time of significant upward momentum.
About the role
Reporting into your local GM, you will lead a team of three and oversee all financial control, reporting and planning activities for the Lithuanian entity. You will partner with commercial, product and operational teams to provide insight, challenge and direction as the organisation continues its substantial year‑on‑year growth.
We’re looking for someone hands‑on, action‑oriented and comfortable rolling up their sleeves—someone who thrives in a dynamic, scaling environment.
Key responsibilities
1. Strategic financial leadership
- Partner with senior leadership to shape business strategy and drive performance.
- Provide financial input on pricing, product development, partnerships and market expansion.
- Collaborate with global teams to support Nomupay’s continued European growth.
2. Financial control & reporting
- Own the financial control environment for Lithuania and contribute to group-wide enhancements.
- Maintain strong internal controls across revenue, costs, treasury and financial operations.
- Ensure accurate and timely reporting under IFRS/local GAAP.
- Oversee month-end close, reconciliation, balance sheet integrity and audit readiness.
- Lead internal and external audits and drive remediation of findings.
- Implement scalable policies, procedures and approval frameworks.
3. Commercial analysis & insight
- Deliver clear commercial insights using financial and non‑financial data.
- Conduct profitability analysis by product, merchant or processing channel.
4. Budgeting, forecasting & planning
- Lead budgeting and forecasting aligned to business growth objectives.
- Build financial models to support planning and scenario analysis.
5. Performance management
- Track and report KPIs across revenue, margins and operational performance.
- Lead monthly performance reviews and recommend improvement actions.
6. Business partnering
- Advise sales, marketing and operations teams, helping them understand financial impacts.
- Use data‑driven insights to influence decision‑making.
7. Risk management & compliance
- Identify and mitigate financial and commercial risks.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and relevant regulatory requirements.
- Provide “nuts-and-bolts” control expertise and support group-level governance.
8. Leadership & team development
- Lead, mentor and develop the Lithuanian finance team.
- Build a culture of ownership, accountability and continuous improvement.
What we’re looking for
- 8–12 years of experience in finance roles.
- Experience within a multinational fintech or financial services organisation.
- Training from a reputable bank or major accounting firm.
- Fluent in Lithuanian (native/near native) and strong English.
- Strong awareness of supply chain, tech‑enabled business models and high-growth environments.
- A proactive, hands‑on “doer” who gets involved in solving issues, not just identifying them.
- Ability to manage a team and operate confidently in a hybrid working model.
