PCI Compliance Level 1 (highest level of requirement)

Over 6 million Visa and/or Mastercard transactions are processed per year.

Requirements

Should you be processing over 6 million Visa and/or Mastercard payments, it becomes necessary to have your company approved by an approved scanning vendor (ASV). This annual audit is completed on-site and various tests are conducted on the integrity of your systems. Controls regarding payments will also be analysed.

PCI Compliance Level 2

1 million to 6 million Visa and/or Mastercard transactions processed per year.

Requirements

Should you be processing under 6 million Visa and/or Mastercard payments, you’ll need to complete a self-assessment PCI-SAQ questionnaire and undergo quarterly reviews.

20,000 to 1 million Visa and/or Mastercard e-commerce transactions are processed per year.

Email hotlist

This method of fraud prevention allows you to deny payments coming from specific email addresses.

IP hotlist

Ban payment attempts from specific IP addresses and ranges of IP addresses if you’ve experienced problems in the past.

BIN listing

Our gateway can detect which country the card has been issued from. If you’d prefer not to take payments from a specific country you can block it in the Fraud Prevention Suite.

Device ID hotlist

Every device used online carries an ID; if passed over in the payment information, you can ban particular devices from submitting payments.
